Unusual Composting Questions
I just came upon this article from “Redlands Daily Facts” that talks about using mushroom growing medium, tea, and coffee in your compost pile. As we’ve discussed before, coffee grounds get a big thumbs up! So does mushroom growing medium. However, the article cautions about the pesticides used for growing mushrooms. So, the lesson is still: be careful what you put in your compost pile!
