Vons supermarkets recently gave away $75,000 in compost to schools, individuals, and other organizations in southern California. Vons is a supermarket chain in southern California (mostly L.A. if I remember correctly). They actually made the compost, by the way. Now, if other supermarkets would only follow their lead!
